I grew up in a musical home. Hammond B3 Organ in the den, acoustic/ electric guitars in different rooms, electric drum pads and amps for days. My father is a professional singer and hobbyist as a musician. He has always encouraged me to take music as far as I can. Although I dabbled in every instrument at home, I fell in love with the sax and started plying in middle school.

“Mr. Steve” has been the Director and Teacher at the music education program, Strings Attached project since 2009. He moved to St. Louis from Los Angeles, CA where he also taught music with a variety of non-profits and afterschool programs, including the Sir Charles Blues Lab with Ray Charles. He has been playing guitar since the age of 6 and has been teaching for 25 years.

I am an Associate Professor of Guitar at Berklee College of Music. I was a faculty member at the Roland Hayes School of Music from 2008-2014 and the Guitar Coordinator at the Boston Arts Academy from 2000 to 2003. Joshua didn't discover his destiny as a banjo player until later in life, but once he did, he set out to fulfill this destiny with a seemingly endless well of energy and enthusiasm. As a lifelong self-taught musician, Joshua has played in a wide variety of contexts.

Hey There! Taylor Donskey is a music educator and multi-instrumentalist. He's been playing tunes and teaching kids, from 1 to 92, starting in 2013 and hasn't stopped since! Taylor graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors of Music from the University of Minnesota School of Music and a minor in Business Management from the Carlson School of Business.
