About Shred Guitar Essentials: Speed, Accuracy, and Control
In this class, we will break down the core techniques used in modern lead guitar playing with a focus on building real speed, accuracy, and control.
You will learn how to develop clean alternate picking and legato technique through structured, step-by-step practice methods designed to improve coordination between both hands. We will also focus on how to turn technical exercises into musical ideas so your playing develops both precision and expression.
The goal of this class is to help you play faster and more cleanly without tension, while building habits that translate directly into real musical situations.
This class is designed for guitarists who want to improve their technique, increase speed, and gain more confidence on the instrument. A basic understanding of guitar fundamentals is recommended.
This material is based on over 35 years of professional guitar experience as a touring musician and educator, including studies at the Guitar Institute of Technology (Musicians Institute, Hollywood), where I graduated with honors.
I am also a recording artist with 11 solo albums released (with a 12th scheduled this year), and have written for national and international music publications.
