I have been playing guitar most of my life, but I never took the time to take proper lesson. I always felt like I didn't need to, and I could learn what I needed from books our YouTube. When the lockdown started started, I decided to take lessons to fill time, and found Yoel among the teachers on Lessonface. His interest in prog metal and the videos and recordings of his work really impressed me (he is incredible!) and were inline with my musical goals and interests. Within just a couple lessons, I learned more than I had in the past 10 years...and realized I should've done this years ago! My playing instantly improved, and the spark for music reignited. Fast forward, I have now been working with Yoel for over 4 months now and I am truly amazed at out how my playing has progressed (my wife has even commented on my improvement!). He has broken down things into an easy-to-understand lesson plan, and takes one step at a time...as fast our as slow as we need to fully understand. I appreciate the way he challenges me, while maintaining a super positive 'can-do' attitude and always giving me positive feedback on where I have improved and details the areas that still need work. His exercises are fun and practical, and we learn licks and solos from whatever music I choose and apply the techniques we have covered in lessons. My potential has exploded. It's like I have rediscovered guitar for the first time all over. All I want to do is play and use everything Yoel been teaching me. Seeing the progress over these few months has me excited for what is in store in the next few months and beyond! Did I mention he is a super cool guy and has a sick 7-string custom guitar? I can't recommend him highly enough!

What is the best method for learning Lead Guitar ?

We're biased, of course, but at Lessonface we believe the best way to learn Lead Guitar is through one-on-one lessons. Personalized instruction means your teacher can tailor every lesson to your goals, learning style, and skill level. Online group classes can also be a great way to make learning fun and social. Learning Lead Guitar online makes it easy to stay consistent, which is essential to steady progress.

There are plenty of apps and YouTube videos out there to help with learning Lead Guitar, but most teachers agree that those resources work best as supplements to, not replacements for, one-on-one instruction. A skilled Lead Guitar teacher can identify bad habits before they become ingrained, help you focus on what matters most, and solve problems as soon as they arise, often saving you months of frustration and wasted practice time. The bottom line? A real teacher accelerates your progress and keeps you on the right path from day one.

How do online Lead Guitar lessons work?
Online lessons are effective, affordable, and accessible. Lessonface qualifies teachers in over 300 music, language, and arts subjects, including Lead Guitar. Students can browse teachers' profiles, send them messages, and book lessons securely through Lessonface. Lessons happen via Zoom links that are securely generated for each lesson, and can be easily recorded by the teacher. Recordings, notes, and attachments can all be accessed from within the Lessonface dashboard. Lessons can be booked one at a time, in packages, or by subscription to save a spot on the teacher's calendar. Lessonface hosts recitals, open mics, group classes, and self-paced courses too. Registering an account is free so it's easy to get started reaching out to find your ideal instructor. Contact us with any further questions!

There is no fee until you book your first paid lesson. Many teachers offer free trial lessons. Students can opt to book one a time, or purchase lesson packages or subscriptions for scheduling convenience, and, depending on the teachers, a discount. Payment can be made by credit card or Paypal. Lessons booked with a subscription are pre-paid three days before the end of the month for lessons that are scheduled for the following month. Subscription payments can only be made by credit card (not Paypal). Teachers receive their payment after the lesson has been completed.
