whats up!! My name is Joey and I'm 32. I began a career in music in West Palm Beach, Fl as a singer/songwriter- guitar player at the age of 18. I moved to Nashville in 2012 to further chase my dream of becoming a premier touring artist. I founded a Rock n Roll band called "Roanoke" that has been on the road since 2014.

I got started playing guitar at 13 when my grandmother unexpectedly bought me a guitar for Christmas. That passion led me to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electronic Music Production and Sound Design with a concentration on guitar (2014-2016).

I worked for over 30 years as an advocate for kids who cannot advocate for themselves and their families. My niche is in working with kids who have a super power such as ADHD, autism, Dyslexia, etc. I also have extensive experience working with kids who do not have such diagnoses. 2025 marked my 20th year teaching guitar.

International School Leadership: From 2015 to 2020, I served as the Choir Teacher at the International School of Uganda (ISU), where I trained students for ISSEA, a prestigious international competition across Africa. ​Musical Theater Direction: I have vocally prepared students for large-scale professional productions, including Mamma Mia! and Into the Woods.
