I teach piano, guitar, bass, songwriting, and music production for kids, adults, beginners, and returning musicians. I earned a BA in Open Music Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in May 2020, and I bring 23 years of piano experience, 14 years of guitar experience, and 10 years of songwriting, recording, and production work into my lessons.

Hello! My name is John Dorney. I am a Berklee College of Music alumni and educator located in Brooklyn NY. I have 5+ years of teaching both privately and for after school programs such as The School of Rock (3+ years) and The Williamsburg Music Studio. Ward Williams, cellist, guitarist, vocalist, and composer, grew up in Winston Salem, North Carolina. At the age of 11, he discovered MTV and, consequently, the love of rock and roll music. His love of MTV faded (due in part to such betrayals as The Jersey Shore), but his love of rock and roll continued (in spite of such betrayals as Staind).

As a musician, I have had the privilege of composing for a variety of audiovisual media, including films, TV shows, video games, and commercials. I am proud to say that my work has earned me recognition in the form of an award for Best Original Soundtrack. As a teacher, I have over 10 years of experience and have had the pleasure of working with more than 30 private students.

Hi, I’m Dave Dohearty. I’ve been teaching guitar full-time for nearly 20 years, and I love helping students of all ages and levels finally play the music they actually enjoy. My main styles are Blues, Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Latin, and Bossa Nova.

Hey There! Paul here, and I have been playing guitar since I was 12, and teaching professionally for 15 years! Over the years I have taught many different types of classes for many different types of students, ranging from one on one classes for people as old as their seventies, and as young as 4, and group classes with up to thirty people present.

34 year old Andrée Theander is a Swedish guitar player who's been teaching guitar since his early twenties. As a musician he is educated at some of the most well-established schools in Sweden as well as Musician's Institute (GIT) in Los Angeles, CA.

I'm a classical guitarist and teacher living in the United States with over 3.5 years of teaching experience. My main area of expertise is in classical or finger style guitar. I enjoy teaching music theory, music analysis, and music writing as well. I studied Classical guitar at the University of Georia and earn a Bachelors of Arts degree in music from UGA in 2021.
