Jim Morgenthaler bought his first Nikon when stationed in Korea in the Air Force. Exploring Korea and Japan with that camera sparked the interest in photography that continues to this day. Jim has been teaching photography in Athens for 45 years and has been involved with digital photography for the last 30 years.

I also write & produce music as well, and am a Production Director by profession. From his first Brownie 127 film camera, the quest began to capture the things that mattered to him. This lead to 37 years in the designing, manufacturing, and marketing component of the photographic industry.

I am a self-taught dancer. I began training at Millennium Dance Complex, and soon after began working as a videographer at Offstage By GRV. I work closely with professional dancers and even get to train on a regular basis. I create my own choreography and freestyle dance videos.

Kathy Grace is a captivating watercolor, oil, and acrylic painter, teacher, and gallery curator who ignites the creative spark in hundreds of students. Many of her students have achieved the remarkable milestone of selling their original paintings in galleries.

Stephen Knifton is a Toronto-born video producer and brand journalist. He began his career in network television news, working as a senior producer for the CBC in Toronto, and News Corp in New York City. He covered and produced multiple live and breaking news events; including 9/11, Gulf War, Iraq War, and has produced US election coverage and debates.

Teri has been a professional artist since 1998, and has won numerous local and regional awards for her paintings. She is represented by galleries throughout the States and the Virgin Islands. She opened her own River's Rim Studio and Gallery in downtown Brasstown, North Carolina, after relocating to the mountains in 2012.

Deborah Jarchow is a full-time weaver, author, designer, and artist who has exhibited at galleries and museums across the country winning numerous awards. She travels from her Arizona home sharing weaving enthusiasm and expertise. As a nationally recognized teacher, Deborah is known as a generous educator who makes weaving accessible and exciting to students of all levels.

Sonal Raje, is a professional artist based in Guelph, Canada. She is actively involved in the local art associations, as well as global ventures that promote the arts. She is a member of the Canadian delegation that is invited to participate in the annual show of the Société Nationale des Beaux – Arts ( Est 1862) at The Louvre in Paris.

Going out into the forests and fields, harvesting materials from nature, and sitting down in the sun to weave a basket is Katie Grove’s idea of a perfect day. She is an artist and educator whose passion is to guide people in connecting to their creative self through the combination of art and nature.
