New Features Announcement - Lessons for Kids and Parents Made Easier

We are thrilled to announce some awesome site feature updates, just going live this week. First the big one:
Parent and child accounts allowing easy and secure lessons
Parents can now easily register themselves, and set up child accounts on Lessonface. So a parent is able to:
- book lessons for multiple siblings
- have their children's lessons in a semi-independent but still completely accessible account
- attend lessons from a third location, if they'd like to be present for a lesson but are still at the office, for instance
Adult students can still register and book easily with Lessonface as well, of course.
We want to make it really easy for a parent or child to safely find a fantastic teacher, no matter their location, instrument, and level. With our teacher roster including now six Grammy winners, three musicians with platinum albums, and hundreds of years of combined teaching experience, the ability to create and access child accounts with ease should allow parents of musically inclined (or those who would like to become musically inclined!) children to connect with phenomenal, inspirational music teachers in a few clicks.
Teachers and students can now send attachments over the messaging platform
It's now easy to attach and send JPGs, PNGs, PDFs, and so forth over the Lessonface internal messaging platform. Very convenient. This is something teachers have been wanting for awhile, so we're glad to be able to have it live.
Live chat in-lesson
Our most recent video conference platform update allows students and teachers to send text chats to each other during the lessons - useful for taking notes, or sharing links. This is in addition to the rich feature set already existing for the live lesson experience of screen sharing, multiple view and self-view options, and audio input and output flexibility.
There were also many sundry other small changes to the platform. Things with the new registration system and in-lesson experience seem to be going great, but if you notice any bugs, or have suggestions for how we can continue to improve, please send us a note to [email protected].
Thanks as always for being a part of Lessonface.
