The leader and founder of the Royal City Saxophone Quartet, Ernie is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in Mathematics and Music. A native of Peterborough, Ontario, Ernie operates a successful database consulting firm, and now calls Elora home.

My teaching combines jazz, modal language and Indian classical concepts to help you build a confident, expressive voice on the saxophone — whether you are a complete beginner, returning player or an experienced musician.

James Gereige is a lifelong learner whose studies bridge Berklee College of Music and SRH Berlin, with academic training and professional experience spanning performance, composition, sound engineering, and music direction. He brings a balance of strong technical skill, musical sensitivity, and real-world experience to his teaching.
