Lessonface presents LESSONFEST: Join the Week-Long Free Music and Arts Learning Extravaganza

Lessonface announces LESSONFEST, a weeklong festival July 25-31 of 100+ free live online music, language, and arts classes and activities like Goal Giveaways, Teacher Technology Roundtable, Meet the Instruments sessions, and more.

LESSONFEST kicks off with an open mic afternoon on Sunday, July 25, hosted by Classical and Flamenco Guitar Teacher of the Year Leah Kruszewski, who joins live from Spain. The learning extravaganza continues with over 100 family-friendly classes, including 30 classes dedicated to introducing different instruments, from the very popular piano to more esoteric pursuits like the didgeridoo. And there are 70 additional beginner and intermediate-level classes exploring music, language, and arts topics.

All the classes and activities offered as part of LESSONFEST are free, although class enrollment is limited. The free live online classes are taught by members of the phenomenal teaching roster at Lessonface, which includes graduates of top conservatories, members of major orchestras, professional educators, and recording artists. Teachers featured in LESSONFEST join from over a dozen countries and include 15 of the Lessonface "Teachers of the Year.".

Featured giveaways associated with LESSONFEST will include instruments, cutting edge technologies for teaching, great mics, and top-of-the-line strings, as well as $1000 in learning credits redeemable on Lessonface. No purchase is necessary to enter. Simply try Lessonface’s free online goal-setting tool (goals themselves will not be evaluated). Lessonface has found that students who set goals are more likely to be successful, so Lessonface hopes students are encouraged by these giveaways to get into the habit of setting goals.

"Ultimately LESSONFEST is not only a celebration of expression through music and arts, but a way for students and teachers to be introduced to our platform and community at Lessonface.com," said Lessonface CEO and Founder Claire Cunningham. "We believe that sponsoring great teachers to offer excellent classes in engaging topics, and inviting interested students to learn for free, is a better use of our resources than buying a bunch of ads that chase people around the internet. Lessonface is all about real people teaching and growing with other real people, and we see LESSONFEST as a fun and joyous occasion to make more connections and more music and art."

"A silver lining to the isolation of the past year is that people had time to focus on hobbies. And we hope Lessonfest is a way that people can keep progressing on the banjo, bassoon, or beatboxing, have fun, and celebrate summer," Cunningham noted.
