I'm an eclectic guitarist, composer and producer based in London. I graduated in Jazz Guitar at the Conservatoire "Licinio Refice" in Frosinone, Italy and completed my Master's in Composition at City University, London. I've played in various London-based projects, currently with the band Dead Writers, in which he features as lead guitarist and producer.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Jazz Composition, he is a masterful guitarist who also excels on the bass and piano. I am a Cambridge university educated tutor, and I have been teaching music privately in the UK for around 20 years, with students of all ages and abilities. I am currently based in SW England, and teach banjo (clawhammer), guitar and bass guitar, and have played all of those instruments at a professional level, in the studio and live.

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 with a bachelors degree in Jazz Studies. I studied under the great Rodney Whitaker of Jazz Lincoln Center fame and Randy Napoleon who is most known for his work with Freddy Cole.

My name is Jess Block. I'm from Long Island, New York. I started playing the bass at age 10. My primary teachers in grade school were Emil Botti, Eugene Levinson, Joel Braun and Ron Castillo. I earned a degree from Juilliard Pre-College in 2009. I attended Manhattan School of Music for my Bachelors where I studied with Tim Cobb.
