My formal training began with private lessons in classical guitar under Prof. Daniel Ribarov from 1997 to 2002.

I began my music teaching journey back in 2012 after attending the University of Colorado Denver. I was pursuing a music degree and at the time I believed touring would be my main source of income. After I had my first guitar student my life path suddenly changed and I realized my passion for teaching.
