Hi, I’m Dave Dohearty. I’ve been teaching guitar full-time for nearly 20 years, and I love helping students of all ages and levels finally play the music they actually enjoy. My main styles are Blues, Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Latin, and Bossa Nova.

I have been playing guitar for 20 years and teaching privately for over 10 years. I spent 4 years teaching percussion at multiple highschools. I also write, record, and release original music with my twin brother. We enjoy touring around Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky to share our music with others.

I am a professional guitarist and qualified music teacher with extensive experience as a soloist, accompanist, and band member across various genres including Rock, Soul, Funk, Folk, Latin, Reggae, Gypsy Jazz, Classical, and more.
