Soloist, chamber musician, and first cellist of many chamber orchestras. I teach cello to students of all experience levels, beginner to pro. I teach the entire cello repertoire. In addition to my work as a soloist and chamber musician, I have taught cello continuously since 1986. My cello students have gone on to participate in prestigious music programs such as Interlochen.

My first musical studies took place at different institutions such as the Simon Bolivar Conservatory of Music in Caracas, Venezuela, the National System of Orchestras and Youth and Children's Choirs of Venezuela where I joined the National Symphony Orchestra for Children and Youth of Venezuela and with which I toured nationally and internationally.

I am a dedicated and passionate teacher of the cello and of music in general. I believe that through the study of the cello, and of music, a student can develop the necessary skills required to master any complex task and achieve all of their goals in life. I am a passionate cellist with strong creativity. I have solid experience in the concert and operatic fields and am also dedicated to teaching, continually deepening my understanding of various teaching methodologies.

Born into a family of musicians in 2002, cellist Danielle Akta made her solo debut at age eleven with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, quickly garnering international attention. She has since performed in leading venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, Chicago Symphony Hall, the Barbican Centre, Teatro Colón, and the Boulez Saal.

Luisa Gutiérrez studied the Classical interpretation Master´s Degree at the University of the Arts in Rotterdam, with cello professor Jeroen den Herder and previously, she had obtained the Higher Degree of Music at the Katarina Gurska Higher Center in Madrid, under the tutelage of international concert cellist Adolfo Gutiérrez.

I am an indie-pop singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and a graduate of Utah State University. As a Teaching Artist, I am deeply invested in the arts and education, and my goal is to cultivate a deep appreciation for music.
