I'm Serbian but I live in Italy for almost 10 years and I'm very passionate about teaching and helping people achieve their goals. In 2017 I graduated at Conservatory of Piacenza as clarinet soloist and in 2019 as chamber music player. ​​​​​​I played as soloist with orchestra and in chamber ensemble. Composer, Saxophonist and Clarinetist Juan Ruiz began his musical studies when he was 11, studying Latin American percussion in his hometown of Caldas Antioquia, Colombia. At age 14, he began clarinet studies at the University of Antioquia's preparatory music school. He left Colombia in 2006 with a scholarship to study English and Music at Atlantic Union College, MA.

I have been teaching piano, strings, and band instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, and drums) for more than 30 years in the public schools as well as privately. I have instructed large groups and ensembles, as well as smaller musical groups in and out of the public schools.

Professional saxophonist/university sax professor, trained at the nations top music schools, I teach students of all levels and ages, whether just beginning or an experienced player. I have a great amount of experience in both classical and jazz and have been playing for about 24 years and teaching for 15 years.

I am a music educator, performer, and composer with a Master’s Degree in Music from New York University (2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Music & Technology from Stony Brook University (2019), where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. My training includes instrumental performance, composition, conducting, and music technology.

I’m Xale Slusser, a Los Angeles–based bassoonist and oboist with degrees in performance, composition, and ethnomusicology from Ohio Northern University, the California Institute of the Arts, and UCLA.
