Clair Cangialosi enjoys an active career as a performer and educator in the Northern Virginia area. She has taught woodwind students in grades 4–12 as well as at the university level in private lesson and masterclass settings. As a life-long band nerd, Clair is passionate about supporting current and future music educators in the development of their double reed pedagogy.

Carolyn Alvarez-Agria is a clarinetist, specializing in clarinet, bass clarinet, and E-flat clarinet, with extensive performance experience at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and venues worldwide.

I am a multi-instrumentalist, performer, and music educator with over 20 years of teaching and performing experience. My formal education began as a pianist at the School of Music in Kostroma.

Ian van Nuys is a woodwind specialist, with playing proficiency in saxophone, oboe, flute, and clarinet. His primary instrument is the saxophone, which he studied as part of Dr. Chien-Kwan Lin’s saxophone studio at Eastman School of Music. Before studying at Eastman, Ian studied saxophone with Mr.

Mary Jewell’s love of music began at the age of 5, when her father gave her lessons on the accordion. The piano followed at the age of 6, and many other interests came later including the clarinet, guitar, bass guitar, and bassoon.
