Hi! My name is Jonas, I’m 29 years old, and I’ve been playing guitar from the age of six. I started teaching at 14 and have worked with students of all ages, ranging from 6 to 50 years old. My musical roots lie in (progressive) metal, but my horizons expanded significantly through years of traveling in the Orient.

I lived and worked in New York City for many years, where I attended Mannes College of Music at the New School, studying with Michael Newman and Frederic Hand of the legendary Metropolitan Opera.

Yessayi Sakayan has been awarded the Degree of Master of Music in Classical Guitar Performance (MMus performance) from London College of Music, University of West London, in October 2020. Yessayi started his music career when he was in his mid-twenties, distinguishing from most classically trained musicians.

Hi there! I'm Michael and whether you are a complete beginner, advanced player, or somewhere in between, I would be happy to lend you a helping hand on your musical journey. My goal and hope is to assist you in decoding some of its mysteries, strengthening your understanding of music as a whole and to better define your artistic voice as a musician.

Ramon Amira started playing the guitar at the age of fifteen, then studied classical guitar with Juan de la Mata, and flamenco guitar and dance accompaniment with the great virtuosos Mario Escudero and Sabicas. He continued his classical and flamenco guitar studies in Los Angeles with Vicente Gomez.

I am a classical guitarist, teacher, and performer. I have my Masters in Performance and String Pedagogy from the University of Louisville. I hold teaching positions at colleges in the Charlotte area. I run an annual guitar symposium at Queens University which includes performances, masterclasses, and competitions.

I started studying the guitar with local teachers at the age of 8. Upon graduation from high school I enrolled in The College of Mount Saint Josephs music program as a Classical Guitar Performance Major, also a Music Education Major. It was at this time that I first started teaching private lessons at a local music store.

From as early as I can remember, I was aware of the magic and power of sound. Harmony, melody, and rhythm were constant companions growing up — whether I was syncing footsteps to imaginary beats on the sidewalk or singing harmonies to ’70s radio hits from the back seat of my parents’ AMC Gremlin, music was always there. I come from a long line of musicians.
