Dr. Purvi is a professional with more than 24 years of enriching experience in Indian Classical Music/Bhajan/Keertan/Gurbani Shabad Keertan and Semi-classical Music who presently works as Prof. and Dean (Faculty of Music) at “Akal College of Arts and Social Sciences”, Eternal University-affiliated to H.P. University, Shimla in India.

His compositions include soundtracks for the Cannes selected feature The Legend (2018), 2020 Oscar eligible short film Two (2019), Prime Video thriller Silent as the Grave (2023), Apple TV film The Actor (2024) and the PBS documentary Why Dinosaurs? I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor Diploma in Performance. There I focused on Jazz Performance but I had the opportunity to study many other styles including Flamenco, Blues, R & B/Neo-Soul and more.
