Eliza Waldman is an award-winning teacher and songwriter. She is trained in both jazz and classical theory, and holds a BA in Music from Vassar College, where she was awarded the Elisabeth Locke Scholarship in music. She was a 2024 Audiofemme Agenda Grant Finalist and won a 2025 Wavy Award for the Live Performance Category.

I hold a BA in music and a MMEd (master’s degree in music education). I have toured the US with various bands and ensembles including an indie-rock quintet, a 10-piece chamber rock ensemble, a big band orchestra and as a solo musician.
