She is a touring and recording multi-instrumentalist, and loves to share her expertise on these instruments with students of all levels and ages. She really enjoys helping students find their own musical voices, in addition to honing their technical skills and knowledge.

I am a well-known Hindustani vocalist and flutist with over 10 years of experience in performing and teaching both flute and vocal music. I received my vocal training under renowned Hindustani classical gurus, including Pt. Ramachandrappa Uppar, and studied flute under distinguished maestros such as Pt. Govindraj Bommalapur and Pt. Ambanna Kopparad.

I’m Daryna, a professional flutist and experienced teacher with a background in solo, ensemble and orchestra performance across Europe. My goal is to help students of all levels find joy and confidence in their playing. Internationally acclaimed flutists Nina Assimakopoulos is credited with over 87 world-premiere performances and commissions and has recorded 5 solo CDs, the most recent of which, Vayu (2015), was selected in to the first round of the Grammy nominations for Best Classical Solo Instrumental.

I graduated from The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London in 2018, with a degree in Jazz performance (saxophone). I received a first class (honours) and 'Final Recital Diploma' and I'm now performing throughout Europe as a band leader for The Goodbye Look and Sam Knight Quintet and as a sideman in a variety of other projects and ensembles, ranging in genre.
