Brent January is a classical guitarist from South Africa. He recently finished his Mastrers in guitar performance at Stellenbosch University, studying under the tutelage of Nina-Fourie Gouws. Brent started his classical guitar journey in 2017(age 19) when he got accepted into the certificate programme in music at Stellenbosch University.

A DC area native, LeeLee Hunter was initially introduced to music, though somewhat reluctantly, through her enrollment in the church choir at the age of four; however, she grew to love it very quickly. Dr. Hunter first experienced the guitar while living in Hong Kong when her third-grade teacher would play for them everyday at the end of school.

I trained in classical and electric guitar at the conservatory in Viña del Mar, Chile, and at the University of Valparaíso. I also spent 23 years immersed in Guitar Craft, a rigorous discipline of technique, presence and conscious practice from Robert Fripp. I work with motivated beginners of all ages — teenagers, young adults, and adults who want to learn guitar the right way.

Hello! My name is Seymour and I have been playing the guitar for 30 years. I have a bachelors degree in music performance from the University of Massachusetts. I graduated in 1998. I have been teaching guitar to students for over 20 years. I have taught in private music schools across the country, online and in-home private lessons.

I have been teaching lessons full time for a living since 1987. Over that time span, I have learned so so much in my lessons. My basic vibe is, I am learning new things constantly, for example, I learned Paul Gilbert's Fuzz Universe and taught it to one of my students. No easy task for any player!
