Bio: Jay Harootunian is a nationally touring artist with the Americana roots band Mojo Birds. His teaching background includes Adjunct Professor of Guitar at San Juan College, band coaching, artist development, and Songwriting Studio Online. He is also the founder of the Durango Sound Project and serves as the Vermont State Coordinator for Music Link.

Hi! My name is Chris and I’m a professional guitar and bass player, song writer and producer in Los Angeles. I’m originally from Las Vegas where I grew up in a musical family and have been in original and cover bands since a very young age; my earliest memory is standing on my dad’s Stratocaster when I was only a kid!

I've has been playing music since age 11 in all kinds of venues ranging from established clubs and concert halls to grimy punk house basements all across the world. I began playing bass with my brother and his friends in a small band right outside of Washington, DC.

I was born in Alicante (Spain) in 1973, and I started playing guitar at the age of 13. My first instrument was a nylon string guitar, and soon after I got an electric guitar. I was interested in Rock and Pop music, and later I started listening and playing Blues, Heavy, Folk, Jazz, etc...

Born in South Spain and based in Madrid, Raul is a highly experienced guitarist specializing in Flamenco. Karina Magallón is a bilingual music educator dedicated to inspiring and connecting people through the power of music and culture. Originally from Houston, TX, and now based in Los Angeles, CA, her teaching is enriched by her experience as an artist and her formal music education.

I’ve been playing guitar for over 25 years and teaching since 2006. My love for music started early, thanks to my dad, who taught my brother and me to play when we were kids. I grew up with a deep appreciation for all kinds of music, which led me to explore different genres throughout my career. I started out playing in a blues band, and over time, my musical journey expanded.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist — guitar, piano, veena, and ukulele — with a background in Carnatic and Jazz music. I hold a Diploma in Contemporary Music from Rainbow Bridge School of Music and have spent 9 years playing, performing, and teaching across NGOs, schools and music academies.

I've been teaching guitar for about 10 years. Playing guitar has been part of my life since age 10—starting with acoustic, then electric, and eventually adding classical guitar to the mix. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg (Germany), where I developed both my musical and educational foundation.

Leticia has loved music her entire life. She took piano for four years, guitar for two, but found her true calling with the violin. Once she found her passion, she began working very hard to attain her goals of playing at the local youth orchestra in her county.
