Hi! My name is Jonas, I’m 29 years old, and I’ve been playing guitar from the age of six. I started teaching at 14 and have worked with students of all ages, ranging from 6 to 50 years old. My musical roots lie in (progressive) metal, but my horizons expanded significantly through years of traveling in the Orient.

I began playing guitar in 1987 and have been teaching privately since 1993. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music in Guitar Performance from Tulane University in 1997, where I studied classical guitar with Elias Barriero and performed a full classical recital to complete my degree.

Ian began playing guitar around the age of ten when he got his first hand-me-down guitar from his older brother. At first he learned to play primarily by ear, learning songs from recordings that he loved, a skill that has proven invaluable to this day.

I’ve been playing in different bands, ensembles, and various groups ranging over genres such as CCM (contemporary Christian music), to rock, R&B, country, metal, and many others. As of early 2024, I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Hi there, My name is Owen & I’m a professional musician from the UK currently writing music for the band Holodek, as well as having over 18 years experience teaching both music and guitar to students of all ages. So whether you want to learn to play chords, learn to solo, use music theory or write your own songs, I can make a lesson plan that works for you.

I am a musician, teacher, and producer from Tampa, Florida. Coming from a musical family, I took up trumpet at 10 years old playing in the school band. In the following years, I started teaching myself guitar. Being left-handed, my first experiences with the instrument were spent picking up my dad’s guitar and playing upside-down.

Mark A. Nokes earned his Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2005. He has performed in ensembles, as a solo guitarist, for film, and as a session guitarist. Mark has played many diverse styles of music on and off the stage including jazz, rock, rhythm and blues, blues, pop, and metal. He is the author of Modern Guitar Method: A Practical Approach.

I began playing the guitar at age 11. I come from a classic rock/punk/metal/hardcore background and ventured into various sub-genres catered to these styles throughout my High School years when I started writing and recording my own music while playing in various bands throughout the tri-state area.

Kyle has been passionate about music from an early age. Growing up listening and learning rock and blues, he later developed a love for classical music and jazz while studying music in university. He received his masters degree in Guitar Performance from University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada. Kyle has experience as a studio musician, performer, arranger, and sideman.

I have been playing guitar for 20 years and teaching privately for over 10 years. I spent 4 years teaching percussion at multiple highschools. I also write, record, and release original music with my twin brother. We enjoy touring around Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky to share our music with others.
