Hello! I’m Daniel — a certified, passionate teacher of saxophone, flute, clarinet & recorder with over 20 years of experience. I come from a family of classical musicians — my grandfather was a music doctor and conductor in germany, my father played in a symphony for 25 years, and my aunt led a music conservatory for 30 years.

Alison has taught over 20,000 lessons in various instruments and voice to over 550 students in private lessons and small groups, in person and online. Her students range from age 3 through adults. Professional saxophonist/university sax professor, trained at the nations top music schools, I teach students of all levels and ages, whether just beginning or an experienced player. I have a great amount of experience in both classical and jazz and have been playing for about 24 years and teaching for 15 years.

I am a woodwind specialist. My main instrument is flute/piccolo. Then I learned saxophone so I could play in jazz bands. Then I learned clarinet because it just seemed fun. I learned these instruments (and more) while getting my bachelor degree in Music Education at Kent State University 1996-2000.

Dr. Onur Ali Yuce is a distinguished composer, educator, and music producer with a profound expertise in musical composition and ethnomusicology. He completed his PhD in Musical Composition at Royal Holloway, University of London, where he explored the intersection of music and sociopolitical issues in the Greater Middle East through groundbreaking musical theatre productions.

I like to work within the Jazz and Brazilian music styles. Besides developing reading skills, improvisation theory and creativity, I stimulate students to learn by heart the repertoire. Every week we study a new tune, memorize it, improvise on it and analyze its melody an harmony.
