My musical journey began in 4th grade when my school took a trip to hear the Seattle Symphony perform Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf." I remember the excitement of getting dressed up to go sit in Beneroya Hall. Even though we were in the back of the balcony, I hung on to every single note that was performed.

Mikki has over 25 years of experience as a violin and music theory teacher. She holds a Masters of Music (MM) in Theory from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) and a Bachelor of Music (BM) in Theory from the University of Toronto. Mikki also holds an ARCT Violin Performer’s Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

I am a bassist, keyboardist, and vocalist located in Los Angeles, California. I play for local bands and artists in venues throughout LA. Currently, I am attending the University of Southern California majoring in Popular Music at the Thornton School of Music with a minor in Music Industry.

Manuela Weller was born in Argentina in 1981. She began her academic training at the J.J. Castro Conservatory, where she studied with André Mouroux and Diana Griot. She then continued her studies at the J.P. Esnaola Conservatory with Miriam Santucci and Larisa Orloff. Additionally, she refined her technique privately with José Araujo and Pablo Bercellini.

New York born and Nashville based. Perform and record with various reputable artists as a bassist, music director, producer, and/or composer. Have completed tours and recordings with various artists nationally and internationally. Experience teaching various musical concepts and instruments including bass, guitar, and musicianship.

I’ve been playing the guitar for twenty-eight years now, and studied with a variety of teachers including Bob Ferguson (a classical guitarist) and Michael Harris (a platinum selling metal guitarist). I began teaching guitar lessons when I was a sophomore at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Within a year, Sheila entered her first national fiddling competition, and four years later, she began competing internationally.

I began playing the cello at the age of 5. My father Michael Flaksman, a world-renowned American cellist and teacher, was one of the major influences of my teaching and playing. I attended the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Juilliard School, and the University of Mannheim in Germany.
