My goal is to cultivate excitement in my students and keep learning fun and interesting. We will focus on what it is that gravitates you to the guitar, and break down what you will need to learn to gain the freedom you are looking for. My aim is that you will always continue to pick up the guitar on your own out of the joy of playing, instead of feeling like you have to.

Mariko Anraku has been a member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 1995 and is a faculty member at The Manhattan School of Music and The Pacific Music Festival. She is an experienced soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player and teacher, and has recorded 3 solo CDs and a flute&harp CD with eminent flutist Emmanuel Pahud, exclusively for EMI Classics. As a recitalist, Ms.

Lindsey received a doctorate in Music and Music Education from Columbia University's Teachers College. She has over 20-years of teaching experience with individual and group instruction, ages 3-50+. She finished her Masters in String Pedagogy and Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

National Old-Time Fiddle Champion Jesse Maw has been performing since age five, moving fluently through old-time, bluegrass, swing, Gypsy-jazz, fusion and beyond. He’s shared stages with icons such as Mark O’Connor, Jerry Douglas, Brent Mason and Gonzalo Bergara, and has coached at the Shasta Music Summit, Crown of the Continent Guitar Festival and DjangoFest NW.

I specialize in helping each student find their most resonant and beautiful sound, because I believe that tone is the heart of music. Hello! I am a professional violin teacher with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and over 10 years of teaching experience. I specialize in teaching beginners, especially young children, and I create a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment.

I began my music studies at the School of Music of the National University of San Juan. I completed my pre-university studies at that institution under the guidance of Daniel Sanchez, soloist of the San Juan Symphony Orchestra. I hold a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Viola Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where I studied with Professor Atar Arad.

Manuela Weller was born in Argentina in 1981. She began her academic training at the J.J. Castro Conservatory, where she studied with André Mouroux and Diana Griot. She then continued her studies at the J.P. Esnaola Conservatory with Miriam Santucci and Larisa Orloff. Additionally, she refined her technique privately with José Araujo and Pablo Bercellini.

I first wanted to play the cello when I was 7 years old, after listening to Saint-Saëns' 'The Swan' being performed at a local concert. Shortly after, I began to have cello lessons, and absolutely loved it! I have been lucky to study with fantastic teachers during my education, most recently with David Cohen (principal cellist of the London Symphony Orchestra).

Known for his “rich tone and lyrical acumen” (Chicago Tribune), violist Michael Isaac Strauss has performed around the world as a soloist, recitalist, in chamber music, and in symphonic settings. His love for the intimate concert setting has led to performances on concert series, live radio broadcasts, and festival appearances across Europe, North America, and Asia.
