I am a professional violist living in The Hague, the Netherlands. I studied at the CRR in Boulogne-Billancourt, Trinity College London, the Conservatory of The Hague and the Dutch String Quartet Academy in the Netherlands. I have devoted a large part of my life to playing the string quartet.

Silvester Shoshi was born in Albania, in 1994. He began his violin studies at the age of 5 at the 'Jordan Misja' art school in Tirana, under the guidance of Professor Zana Gruda. After completing high school in 2012, he started his Bachelor's Academic Year at the University of Arts, with Prof.Assoc. Bujar Sykja.

Originally from upstate New York, Ruben McFarlane is a violist, string pedagogue, and arts administrator currently living in the Boston area. He holds Bachelor Degrees with Summa Cum Laude honors in Viola Performance and Music Education from Penn State University, and a Master Degree in Viola Performance from The Catholic University of America.

My Background: My musical background is diverse and grounded in classical training. I began my life long love of the cello in 1992 at the age of 10. Since then I have performed and recorded with a variety of musical artists, poets, story tellers, and dancers.
