Mr. Bermudez has been passionate about classical music since he can remember. Although his undergraduate degree was in business, he remained highly active in music. He studied cello with the late Dr. James Stroud, played in the university and local orchestras, established the school’s official string quartet, and produced a daily classical music radio show.

Progress, and the rewards it unlocks, is my motivation. In my time studying at NYU, to earn a Bachelor of Music degree, followed by attending Cleveland Institute of Music for masters school, I have learned a lot about performing and teaching cello music.

I am based in NYC classical cellist and a music teacher from Georgia. I was a principal cellist in Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater for 12 years before I moved to the United States. I earned my MM degree from Tbilisi State Conservatory and Graduate Degree in Music Education from CUNY/Brooklyn College.

Zorica Todorović, and at six, she enrolled in her class as part of the elementary program at the Conservatory for Music and Ballet Maribor. Susan Lindemann is a cellist and bagpiper based in Tampa, Florida. Aimée Blom is a professional violinist and upper strings teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience. She completed her BMus (2014-2017) and MMus (2018-2019) studies with distinction at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, under the guidance of Johanna Roos and Irene Tsoniff.

Matteo Colombo graduated with distinction from the G. Verdi Conservatory in Como, Italy. He perfected his skills with Maestro O. Semchuk, D. Bogdanovich, and M. Fornaciari.. From 2007 until 2014 he has been rank and file violin of Orchestra 1813 at Teatro Sociale di Como, performing in most of the beautiful theatres in Italy.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I had an interest in education at a young age. After heart surgery left me unable to participate in sports or recess in the fifth grade, I became a teacher’s assistant, and my love for teaching began to blossom. In the sixth grade, I began playing the viola. I went on to become viola section leader in high school.
