I am a professional violinist based in Poland, with extensive orchestral, chamber, and solo experience across a wide range of repertoire. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Violin Performance (with distinction) from the Academy of Art in Szczecin, where I studied under renowned pedagogues and received the Rector’s Scholarship for artistic excellence.

Yulia Price lives in the Boston area and teaches violin and viola. Yulia began her violin studies at the age of four with Suzuki violin teacher Kathy Allison. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Music in Violin Performance at East Carolina University under the tutelage of Ara Gregorian and Hye-Jin Kim; and completed her Suzuki Pedagogy Certification with Joanne Bath.

I've been in the MET Orchestra for 27 years. I have been Professor of Bass at the Colburn School and Bard College and have taught master classes and lessons at most major conservatories in the US. I've been the bass teacher/coach of the Verbier Festival for the past 20 years.

I am a principal lecturer and head of the bass department at Leeds Conservatoire in the UK. I teach Double, Electric bass, music theory, rhythm and other subjects closely related to music education. I have studied with Charlie Haden on Double Bass and Jeff Berlin on electric bass at California Institute of the Arts in LA where i graduated with a Masters degree.

I began playing the violin when I was 3 years old, and switched full-time to viola at the age of 12. Since then, I have completed 3 post-secondary performance degrees at the San Francisco Conservatory, New England Conservatory, and Lynn University, studying primarily with Jodi Levitz, Kim Kashkashian, and Ralph Fielding.
