Hello and welcome! I've been passionate about teaching cello for most of my life, and have invested extensively in building and refining my pedagogical approach. I have 25 years of experience teaching cellists from many backgrounds, ages 4-80, from complete beginners to cellists preparing for professional careers.

I graduated from Boston University and McGill University with my bachelors and masters in French horn respectively. I have played in orchestras across the US and Canada and have taught in schools such as Lower Canada College and Rosemont High School in Montreal. I have performed under renowned conductors such as Alain Trudel, James Burton, and Joshua Gersen.

- I was born and raised in Timmins, Ontario, Canada. - Not long after I started taking guitar lessons, I started teaching myself the riffs to my favourite rock albums. My taste tends to run towards the heavier and more epic side of rock, with Deep Purple, Rainbow, Led Zeppelin, the Scorpions, Gary Moore and Yngwie Malmsteen being my biggest influences.

Cecilia Ferron is an accomplished Italian violinist with a remarkable career in the world of classical music. She made her highly anticipated debut at the renowned Kammer Musiksaal – Philharmonie in Berlin with her Trio in May 2023. Cecilia's journey in music began at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where she cultivated her skills on the violin.

I am dedicated to guiding you on your musical journey, ensuring you reach your fullest potential with precision and creativity. New to Colorado Springs, my family and I moved here in Spring of 2025 in pursuit of career opportunities and a new adventure. I am excited to join this community and build a thriving studio of violinists. I have been teaching privately for 25 years.

I am a violinist, composer, and harpsichordist. I started started playing violin at the age of 4 with the Suzuki method. I transitioned to Celtic music, then Scandinavian, and learned to play the Hardanger fiddle. At university I played in the St Andrews Baroque Orchestra and now play the Baroque violin. I also play harpsichord, having studied with Linda Burman-Hall.

Elyse is a professional violinist with over 30 years of playing experience and over 20 years of experience teaching students of all ages and ability levels.
