I have both a bachelor's and master's degree in Vocal Performance. While I initially studied and performed operatically, I was also drawn to performing in the musical theatre genre. Since then I have completed courses in the mechanics of mix and belt and voice function.

Charity Thomas, popularly known as ChachaVocals, is a Nigerian mezzo-soprano, singer, songwriter, and vocal coach based in Lagos. A graduate of Music Education and Vocal Performance and a vocal coach with over 10 years of experience, she is passionate about nurturing voices and raising excellent singers. Samuel Ferreira is a Brazilian baritone, voice teacher, and psychoanalyst, dedicated to vocal artistry and performance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and a Master’s in Voice Performance from Georgia State Universitya, USA.

My name is Omar, and I'm not your typical teacher. Music teachers usually fall into one of two camps: those close to modern music — rap, pop, the street — and those with classical academic training, deep theory and refined technique, but convinced that real music ended sometime after WW1. I sit in between.

A few words about my journey in music: I studied classical piano from a young age until adulthood. Then, I explored traditional Greek music and quickly discovered my love for rock, funk, and pop music. While studying occupational therapy, I participated in various music groups, where I sang and played the piano, accordion, and percussion.

I’ve trained at Berklee College of Music, collaborated with Grammy-winning professionals across North America, and studied under renowned mentors like Gabrielle Goodman and Pat Pattison.

Hi! I'm Sam, and I've been teaching music for over six years. I hold both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music. Most recently, I spent three years teaching at School of Rock in New York City, where I worked with students of all ages and experience levels.
