It amazing the way music skills work with the brain. What am about to tell you is from my own person experience and I will like others to contribute to this so that we can all learn. When rehearsing on any instrument be you a beginner or professional, especially if it is a new piece for professionals.l, perfection is not attained immediately because the mind needs some time to absorb what has been learned take for example playing scales really fast on the piano in other to acquire flexibility with your fingers, you will observe fingers become weak at first and when they are left to rest become stronger. This is the same with learning a musical piece on staff that you intend to play by heart.
