Acting 101- the basics from Headshots to Casting

Hi, I’m Stephanie Barton-Farcas and I am a teacher. I am also an author (look my acting for the 21st century book up on Amazon, which helps you navigate acting in a digital world), and I am also an actress for film, TV, stage and voiceover work. I also direct and produce and am a casting consultant for talent agents and for Disney/Nickelodeon.

The entertainment world is a rapidly changing one, especially post pandemic, and I often get asked the same types of questions a lot. So I have made a series of 9 short videos to answer some of the basics, at least as the basics are right now going into the 2024-25 casting year.
