Lessonface Founder & CEO Claire Cunningham Interviewed by Columbia University's Teachers College
Lessonface founder & CEO Claire Cunningham recently sat down with Kate Meersschaert, Innovation fellow at Columbia University's Teachers College EdLab Studios, to share a bit about the history of Lessonface and discuss her experience founding the company.
Some highlights:
- "Keeping the human element in while using the best in technology." - KM, about what Lessonface does
- "The most exciting part of Lessonface - other than working with the teachers and the students...which I'm so thrilled and humbled by the amazing people we have on the site. The thing I find most exciting and encouraging is that people come to [Lessonface] and they find their teachers and they create these relationships. It's a really strong teacher-student relationship that's formed and that we're able to support." - CC, on what is awesome about Lessonface
- "As an entrepreneur, you have to be irrationally optimistic but at the same time it's important if something is not working to move onto the next thing...irrationally optimistic but not delusional." - CC, on living to fight on another day in startup-landia
- "Never stop learning. I hope that I'm 90 and still learning things." - CC
