About Needle Felted Single Layer Seascape with Kristen Walsh
Learn two-dimensional needle felting while making this beautiful single layer seascape. You'll learn how to layer color, blend colors and create surprising three-dimensional effects. Adding a lighthouse is the perfect object to learn how to round out a form. You'll also learn other techniques to help your seascape have more dimension and perspective. This will include discussion and examples on using warm & cool colors as well as sharp vs soft edges to create depth.
Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class
Scissors, students are welcome to bring their own work surface or borrow one from the instructor.
Materials Fee (to be paid directly to the instructor)
$12 - includes merino roving in appropriate colors, wool felt, needles, and foam work surface for use during class. Students may bring their own work surface if they prefer.
