Hi! My name is Anna Leone and I'm a Brazilian classical guitarist with over 15 years experience as a teacher and 23 years as a player. I have studied with with great names of the classical guitar community, and I've won over twelve prizes in music competitions throughout Brazil and USA.

I've been performing and teaching guitar, banjo, and mandolin in the DC area and online since 2012. I play guitar and Banjo with the bluegrass band Cherry Blossom Special. In my own playing I've mostly pursued Bluegrass, classical and jazz but I love helping students reach their own goals regardless of style.

Jeff Ellsworth is an accomplished guitarist who has been playing and composing for over 20 years. He has played in numerous bands such as Don Caballero and Broughton's Rules, both released by Relapse Records, and has toured throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Over 4000 lessons taught on Lessonface: Ms. Svec attended the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University on full scholarship to earn both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in music education where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was chosen to be a Chancellor Scholar at Appalachian State University.

I’ve been learning and performing electric and acoustic guitar since I was 9, and I love to share its fantastic possibilities with all ages and levels of students. I also teach (and perform competently on) electric bass, ukulele, mandolin and piano.

Flávio Silva is a musician who is part of a new generation of Brazilian composers and instrumentalists that has been breaking through the musical scene of different places, such as Brazil, The Netherlands and most recently, New York.

I’m a composer, performer, and music educator based in New Haven, CT, blending elements of classical music, rock, pop, and film scoring. With over 3,000 live performances and hundreds of recording credits for clients like VH1, MTV, and Sony Records, I bring a wide range of professional experience to both the stage and the studio.

For over 33 years as a musician and 29 years as an educator for all grade levels and teachers alike, I have the experience of learning from my previous students and applying more efficient techniques to current and future ones. Much like my students, I work towards learning the most innovative techniques while foreseeing the trends of the future in music and education.
