Gina is known by her students as a patient, fun and engaging teacher. She is a touring and recording multi-instrumentalist, and loves to share her expertise on these instruments with students of all levels and ages. She really enjoys helping students find their own musical voices, in addition to honing their technical skills and knowledge.

Award-winning guitarist, composer and singer Octavia Romano is an extremely versatile artist, comfortable in classical, jazz and world music repertoires. Her performance highlights include Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Webster Hall, Blue Note, Symphony Space, Joe's Pub and more.

My goal is to cultivate excitement in my students and keep learning fun and interesting. We will focus on what it is that gravitates you to the guitar, and break down what you will need to learn to gain the freedom you are looking for. My aim is that you will always continue to pick up the guitar on your own out of the joy of playing, instead of feeling like you have to.

I'm a guitar player and music educator from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I've been teaching guitar for the last 20 years, guiding in my private lessons all levels of students, from beginners to professionals. I have a master's degree in Music Education from the University of Sao Paulo, where I graduated in Music.

I hold a BA in music and a MMEd (master’s degree in music education). I have toured the US with various bands and ensembles including an indie-rock quintet, a 10-piece chamber rock ensemble, a big band orchestra and as a solo musician. I compose and perform my own music and just released my second album of original music.
