For over 33 years as a musician and 29 years as an educator for all grade levels and teachers alike, I have the experience of learning from my previous students and applying more efficient techniques to current and future ones. Much like my students, I work towards learning the most innovative techniques while foreseeing the trends of the future in music and education.

Hello! My name is Josh Mottley, and I have over 40 years of experience as a professional musician and music educator. I’ve toured nationally, recorded 100+ albums, and taught private lessons on guitar, piano, bass, vocals, drums, and more.

I’m an award-winning composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with 15+ years of experience in songwriting, music production, and performance. I’ve taught at NYU’s prestigious Songwriting and Contemporary Production Program and worked with artists from beginners to platinum-sellers, helping them refine their craft, find their voice, and reach their goals.

I’m a composer, guitarist, arranger, sound designer, and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. I’ve taught at Yale, Saint David's School, and CO-OP Arts High School, among others; performed around the world in rock bands, orchestras, opera pits, and experimental groups; composed award-winning orchestra pieces, critically-acclaimed rock albums, and film/TV soundtracks.

I’ve worked with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Daniel Caesar, 42 Dugg, Orion Sun and Robert Glasper, and composed music for Apple TV+, Hulu, and Riot Games. I tour internationally, with performances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, NPR’s Tiny Desk, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Andres brings a unique blend of hands-on expertise and academic insight, having worked with some of the biggest names in music—including Annie Lennox, David Gilmour, Kanye West, and Jay Z—as well as some of the most promising indie artists such as Paris Paloma, Seafret, Flyte and Vraell.

Hi, I'm Jon. I'm a composer and keyboardist from Colorado. I've been playing piano for about 22 years and composing music for about 11 years. I have a B.A. in Music Composition from Adams State University and a M.M. in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music.

Thom Cadley is a TEC Award winning & Emmy-nominated mixer with an amazing list of credits. He’s been involved in countless projects ranging from recording for Joan Jett back in the 80’s, to mixing Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child for 5.1 SACD, to mixing a Sting live album with a full orchestra.

As one of the lead instructors at SAE NY for over 6 years, and with over 10,000 hours of classroom time, I have helped hundreds of students to perform professional level work and understand the changing needs of a technology-based industry.
