Hello there! I'm Ess! I'm a musician, composer, electronic music maker, and educator currently doing my PhD in Music at University of California-San Diego. My musical background is quite diverse, as I love ALL kinds of music: I have played guitar since for 20 years, piano for 26 years, trumpet for 10 years, and have been making electronic music as a producer since 2015.

I am a professional teacher, trumpeter and conductor who graduated from the Royal College of Music (2022) and The University of Edinburgh (2018), both with First class degrees. In the past year, I have worked with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Czech Chamber Philharmonic, Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic among others.

I'm a composer currently based in Los Angeles. My music has been heard on television, independent films, feature films, web series, documentaries in the festival circuit, and concert halls around the U.S. I've also been at the forefront of new multimedia platforms, composing music for one of the first VR television series.

Nicole DeMaio is a composer, performer, and educator who was born in Bogota, Colombia and is currently living in the NYC area. As a woodwind doubler, Nicole performs on flutes, clarinets, saxophones, and bassoon. She has recently worked as a substitute musician on Broadway’s “"Some Like It Hot", "Aladdin”, “1776”, “Kimberly Akimbo”, “A Strange Loop”, and “Beetlejuice”.
