I graduated from Eastman School of Music in 2012 as the only Rogers Scholar in my class, and received a PhD in Music Performance and Composition from New York University in spring 2022.

I’m Sai Paluri, a Hindustani Classical Vocalist devoted to sharing the beauty and depth of Indian Music. I’ve been immersed in raga-based music since childhood and now perform and teach Hindustani Classical (khyal, bhajans, ghazals. I also do spiritual fusion music with my band. My classes go beyond technique—together we explore voice, devotion, emotion, and presence.

I attended a prestigious choir school and then proceeded to get music scholarships to Hilton College and Berklee College of Music. I finished my piano grades in high school and released my first classical album at the age of 16.
