My name is Hans Muer. I've been teaching percussion privately for 36 years and love it! Seeing students grow to love learning from me and to play well is super gratifying. American Drum Set and Percussion artist Sean J. Kennedy is the drummer for The Gardyn Jazz Orchestra and The Doc Severinsen Tribute Band, featuring Jay Webb and has been principal percussionist with the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale since 2004. He is a multi-faceted musician who is equally accomplished on the stage, in the recording studio, and in the classroom.

I’m a Los Angeles–based musician and teacher with a strong background in jazz, contemporary music, songwriting, and multi-instrumental studies. I attended the USC Thornton School of Music as a Jazz Studies drumset major, and also studied piano, guitar, music theory, and composition.

Hi! I’m Brian Zimmerman, a lifelong musician, passionate educator, and the founder of Bravo Beats. I’ve been playing drums and percussion for over 20 years, and teaching for more than a decade. Music has taken me across stages, classrooms, studios, and recording sessions—and now, it brings me into the homes of families across Bergen County.

I have been involved with Drums and Music since 1995. A lifelong student myself, I am deeply passionate about learning, exploring and sharing the amazing world of Percussion with my students and peers. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music from Western Washington University in 2006, and since then I have performed extensively across the country in clubs, theaters and festivals.

Professional Drummer & Groove Coach Teaching language: German I am a professional drummer, groove coach and music educator with over 7 years of teaching experience, as well as extensive live and studio experience. My teaching focuses on groove, timing, musical feel and flow — not just playing notes, but developing a confident, relaxed and musical way of playing.

I've published beginner music methods for all three instruments, and have a growing YouTube channel with ukulele and guitar tutorials. Hi, and welcome to my teaching profile :) Main subjects and instruments include electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, cajon, drumkit, music theory, improvisation, percussion, aural skills (ear training), eurythmics (internalizing rhythm), sight-reading, classical guitar and flamenco guitar. I'm very passionate about music and drums and love teaching them! I've taught hundreds of students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. I have an AA degree in Drum Set Performance from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California and studied with many notable teachers including Tommy Igoe, John Xepoleas, Fred Dinkins, and Rob Carson.

Rhythm Coach Kolston has 20 yrs experience studying drum set and rhythm. He has taken a diversified approach to music training through both mentorship and self-study. In 2021 he spent four months training under Carter Mclean (Lion King NY, Charlie Hunter) who has been named the drummer with the best hands in the business.
