I've been playing the drums for over 26 years. Graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor's Degree in Music where I had the opportunity to put together drum circles and music events with my peers.

I have been playing and performing the drums for the past 16 years. In a teaching situation I try and provide a relaxed and friendly environment in order to learn a students strengths and weaknesses. I want students to be able to learn at their own pace, and not to worry if they think they are not learning quickly enough.

Dr. Matthew Mailman is Professor of Conducting in the Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University, a position he has held since 1995. Dr. Mailman has had extensive and diverse experience conducting operas, musicals, orchestras, bands, choirs, and chamber music.
