Welcome to my online piano lessons. I am a professional piano teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience and 25+ as a piano player. I share my piano experience and knowledge like technique improvement, practice tips, proper fingering, music reading, good posture and many more!

I am a GRAMMY Nominated educator, trumpeter, guitarist, bassist, pianist, singer/songwriter, composer/arranger, drummer and recording artist. I graduated from University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor’s of Arts with a concentration in Jazz Studies and the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with a Master’s in Jazz Studies, specifically in trumpet.

My name is John Sanders and have been teaching music lessons on piano, keyboards and guitar for 30 years. I have operated successful after school music programs in San Francisco and Memphis and I have a Masters degree in music theory from University of Memphis.

HI! I'm a conservatory and college graduate based in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I'm a working musician, teacher, and owner of my own jazz school for Spanish speakers. I have worked with several musicians from the pop and jazz scene. As a college undergrad, I performed in a big band for over three years and have taught lessons for 10 years.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I had an interest in education at a young age. After heart surgery left me unable to participate in sports or recess in the fifth grade, I became a teacher’s assistant, and my love for teaching began to blossom. In the sixth grade, I began playing the viola. I went on to become viola section leader in high school.

I am a doctoral candidate in Voice Performance and Pedagogy at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and have over 20 years of teaching experience in voice, piano, and music theory. I’ve worked with students of all ages and levels—from young beginners to college-level musicians and adult learners.

As a self-taught Musician and with over 10 years of experience in the Film and Music Industry as a Composer, with over 6 years of experience as a Tutor, I have been teaching regularly Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, and Western Music Theory as its one of my passions.
