I am a professional musician and multi-instrumentalist residing in Brooklyn, New York. I am primarily a saxophonist, but also double proficiently on trumpet and drums, and guitar. I have performed professionally for 13 years in NYC and internationally with a host of world class musicians.

I'm performing tabla since 2009 and I'm disciple of world renowned table player Shri Yashwant Vaishnav (Mumbai). Learning from me lead you to the rich traditions of Indian classical music. I believe that learning to play the tabla will be an enriching and fulfilling journey for yours.

Born in Quito, Ecuador, Zak was nourished in a home surrounded by art. His mother was a painter and sculptor and his father, a musician. At a very early age, Zak showed enormous passion for percussion and singing. This led him to become a self taught musician, singing in choirs and playing drums for rock bands of the musical scene of Ecuador as a teenager.

Shreyas Iyer has been playing and learning tabla since he was 7 years old. As a musician, teacher and event producer, he has organized and performed in several shows locally as well as internationally. Shreyas continues to spread his knowledge and passion for the tabla through classes and workshops in his school Dhaa School of Music.
