I graduated from Berklee College of Music as a pianist with a major in Contemporary Writing and Production and specialized in Music Production at UCLA. I have either played with or produced countless artists from all over the world and have been teaching privately since 2014, when I attended the Souza Lima Jazz conservatory in Brazil.

Johnathan Couch is a native of Central Florida. He grew up playing piano and cello and eventually studied organ performance and music composition at Florida State University. He enjoys teaching, conducting, performing, and composing music. From working with youth orchestras to playing for church services, he is constantly connecting with others through music.

I'm a musician, teacher, sound engineer, & amateur philosopher from Denver, Colorado. My primary instrument was Alto Saxophone until the high school band director convinced me to try Trombone, the church choir director convinced me to sing, and a close friend taught me to play “Take 5” and “für Elise” on the piano.

I quit piano lessons as a kid because I thought they were boring and I wasn't learning quickly. As much as I liked my teacher, she used standard teaching methods which were supposed to take years to get past the basics. Years later, I dove into the depths of music theory and developed my own piano method.
