Born in England in 1963, Gila (formerly known as Gillian) Carcas has composed well over fifty pieces of music, ranging from solo and small chamber works to full orchestral pieces and a chamber opera. Compositional studies were undertaken with Sebastian Forbes, John Casken, Erika Fox and with Peter Manning for electroacoustic music.

I grew up in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and began my piano studies there at the age of 5. I have traveled to Europe for competitions and continued intensive piano training in Tashkent until I moved to NYC at the age of 15. I have been teaching piano privately in NY for 16 years, and that is what brought me here.

I am Dr. Henny Kupferstein, creator of the patented, evidence-based Doogri Method® Piano Curriculum. My lifelong passion for music and education has led me to develop innovative approaches that make piano learning accessible, joyful, and meaningful for students of all ages and abilities.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Music degree in cello performance. She has participated in prestigious masterclasses under the guidance of artists such as Clive Greensmith from the Tokyo String Quartet and soloist Amit Peled, among others. Nicole has experience performing in Italy, states throughout the Midwest, and in NY.

Hello everyone! I’m Kwan, a dedicated piano teacher fueled by a passion for sharing the joy of music. With over eleven years of experience since 2014, I specialize in both classical and popular music, and I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student’s unique learning style, ensuring that music remains both engaging and fulfilling.

Eric Schwartz has studied composition at the Cleveland Institute of Music, New York University, and both the Interlochen and Aspen Summer Music Festivals. Past teachers have included Margaret Brouwer, Donald Erb, George Tsontakis, and Randy Woolf. Primarily interested in a synthesis of musical archetypes, Schwartz is always at work on a variety of genre bending projects.
