Maria Semes is a tenured member in the viola section of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Prior to joining the Baltimore Symphony, Maria was a tenured member of the Louisville Orchestra violin section from 2014-2022. She played in the first violins for 5 years and then was 3rd chair in the second violins.

I am offering violin/ viola private lessons for beginners, as well as intermediate and advanced students who need specific training for music programs and orchestra ensembles entry exams or auditions.

Sarah Arnold holds performance degrees from Rice University Shepherd School of Music and Yale University. She began studying the violin at the age of four, and gave her debut performance at the age of eight as soloist with the Akron Symphony. She has appeared as soloist with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, the Toledo Symphony, and the Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra.

Nate DeMaria is a classically trained violinist with a passion for improvisation and fiddle styles. Nate studied violin performance and string pedagogy at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory under Dr. Julian Ross, and music education at SUNY Potsdam College, graduating with a B.A. in Music (2005).

Jon Dostou is a contemporary composer, arranger, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who has been making music on stages around the United States for many years. From 2018-2020 he served as the Music Director for Northern California's Premier Party Band, Superbad, headlining shows throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Music with an emphasis in Performance (Electric Bass) from Universidad de las Américas (UDLA) in Quito, Ecuador, in 2022, where I studied under Cayo Iturralde and Mauricio Vega. I currently continue my musical training through classical double bass private lessons with Enrique Sánchez, as well as performance workshops.

I am a passionate musician, a believer that through (smart) work and persistence, one can achieve his/hers objectives. Teaching is a big passion of mine and I want to pass onto others my enthusiasm for music and violin playing. Music bio: I was born in Porto, Portugal, and began studying the violin at the age of 3 through the Suzuki method.
