I began playing music when I was 8 years old and started playing professionally as a teenager. I started teaching in-person lessons in 1987 and opened my own studio 20 years ago. I have also been a faculty member at a local Fine Arts Center for 14 years.

Hello everyone, I look forward to working with you! My name is Dr. Jung, and I play and teach violin and viola. I debuted with the Seoul Grand Symphony Orchestra at age 13 and the Rainbow Youth Orchestra at age 14. Since then, I have gone on to win several competitions in South Korea and completed my education in both the Czech Republic and the USA.

A distinguished violinist and educator based in the Piedmont Triad region, serving as Associate Principal Violin II with the Winston-Salem Symphony, and maintaining an active career as a chamber musician, recording artist, and instructor.

Former Associate Principal Double Bass at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra 2015 - 2023, and former 2nd Solo Double Bass at the Royal Danish Opera (fixed-term contract). Teaching experience encompasses lecturing double bass at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, working with younger people at Sistema Scotland and private tutions of all ages.
