Learn from Great Strings Teachers

Music has been the foundation of my life for decades. I hold a Ph.D. in Violin Performance and have performed as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player, and educator throughout my career. I play guitar, upright & electric bass, and piano. I've played in multiple bands throughout my life. I moved to Seattle with my band from Ann Arbor in 2016. We played Indie Psych Rock and were influenced by bands like Talking Heads, The Strokes, and David Bowie. We had the privilege of recording a single with Steve Albini(Nirvana) and an EP with Gordon Raphael(The Strokes).

In middle school, my mom decided I needed to channel my energy into something more creative than playing Super Mario Bros. She bought my first guitar from a gentleman selling gardening tools at the Alpine Village Swap Meet.
