Brent Davis is a cellist in the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra and a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he received a B.A. in Music Performance with Highest Distinction. Brent was also a member of the Charlottesville Symphony, and regularly performed in several chamber ensembles, including Trio Sobrenna, the Jupiter Quartet, and the Radio Music Society.

Hi! My name is Laura Ellison. I am a professional violinist with 20+ years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. I have a Bachelor Degree and a Master Degree in Violin Performance from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC where I studied with Robert Gerle.

Violist, Conor McAvinue is currently based in Baltimore, Maryland studying with Choong-Jin Chang at Peabody Conservatory. Prior to Peabody, Conor received a master's degree at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University with James Dunham and a bachelor's degree at San Francisco Conservatory of Music with Dimitri Murrath and Jonathan Vinocour.

Dakota developed a strong passion for the violin very early in her life. She started playing at age 2 after showing strong interest while hearing a recording of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major on the radio. Since then she has continued her studies performing in many recitals and concerts.

Leigh Stuart is a versatile cellist who thrives on performing music from a wide range of styles and genres. She has toured the U.S. extensively as a chamber musician, performing in venues such as Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Deer Valley Music Festival, the Library of Congress, the Lied Center of Kansas, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, and countless others.

Maxwell Alemán is a conservatory-trained violist and music educator with international training in both performance and pedagogy. He earned his BM in Music Education and Viola Performance (summa cum laude) from Ithaca College, where he served as the exclusively approved music theory tutor for all compulsory Bachelor-level theory courses.

I am Dante Bertolino, professional violinist with ADDA·Simfònica (alternating principal second violin), concertmaster of the Mediterranean Chamber Orchestra, and collaborator with the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana – Les Arts.

Initially trained as a classical violinist, my current passions include Southern Old-Time, Irish, French-Canadian Fiddle music and Klezmer. In June 2011, I became the first teacher in Washington State to be certified in the Mark O'Connor Violin Method, a developmental curriculum of American folk music for students of all levels.

I am a chamber musician and music teacher. Currently, I work as Assistant Director of Sycamore Strings Academy, teaching violin individual and ensemble lessons, conducting the youth chamber orchestra, and coaching the adult chamber ensemble. Recent public performances have included accompanying choir and soloists in Handel's Messiah and Saunder Choi's Verum Corpus.
