I started my violin lesson at age 5 and I was so fortunate because my violin teacher lived just next door so he was constantly monitoring my practice whenever he’s home, and I had lessons almost every other day! I made my first public solo performance at age 8 in Shanghai, China and I began to teach my own violin student at age 14.

Hi! My name is Joe Lorang and I teach violin. As a professional violinist, I am a member of the Glimmerglass Festival Orchestra and have also performed with Boston Lyric Opera, Marsh Chapel Collegium, Northwest Sinfonia, and New World Symphony.

My name is Jacob! I play a variety of instruments (mostly those with strings) in a variety of genres, though these days my main focus these is traditional dance music, with a particular emphasis on Irish and Quebecois styles. I regularly play music on fiddle, mandolin and guitar for contra dances and English country dances across Quebec and Ontario.

Green Bouzard is a versatile classical violinist, fiddle player, pianist, songwriter, improviser, and cross-genre musician with over 25 years' experience playing the violin and 14 years' experience teaching violinists and violists of all ages and abilities.
