Kyla Gabka has been studying the performing arts since she was four years old. She is a singer, pianist, violinist, and actress. She has a BA in Music and BA in Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. Kyla has had so many wonderful opportunities to share the knowledge that she has gained throughout all her time of being a performing artist.

Hi! I'm Holly and I started playing violin at 14 years old, which is actually kind of late for most string players. I believe you can start playing an instrument at any age though and you're never too old to pick up a new hobby! I was a very serious player and I made progress quickly.

Originally from Perth, Australia, Marshall began learning piano at the age of 7 and the violin at 8. He quickly took to the violin and was offered a specialist music scholarship to Churchlands Senior High School. By the end of his time at Churchlands, Marshall was awarded several prizes including top instrumental student & music dux and gained his Associate Diploma from the AMEB.

I am a Juilliard-trained violist with 6 years of experience in teaching viola and violin to all ages and levels. My expertise is classical music, with additional training in Irish fiddle as well as frequent participation in jazz, contemporary, and multidisciplinary ensembles.

I studied viola performance at the University of Northern Colorado and currently sit as the Principal violist of the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra. As an avid member of the local Viola community, I perform and teach both professionally and personally on a regular basis. I've been teaching private and group lessons for 20 years, and love working with students of all ages and levels!

Caleb Tizon, MAEd has played violin since the age of eleven. He began formal violin training with Ye Tao from 2004 to 2006. He later continued with Sarah Chung from 2008 to 2010 and Dr. Meredith Arksey of Washington State University in 2015.

Zack Rapp grew up north of Chicago in the small town of Libertyville, IL. From a young age it was clear that he was drawn to music when he began taking violin lessons at age 9, and was inspired by his brother to pick up the guitar a year later at age ten.
